Solano Stroll Sunday, September 11th, 2011

You can visit one of 75 entertainers, 50 food booths, 150 juried arts and crafters, games, wacky art cars, and almost 200 community non-profit (HOH Athletic Arts!) and government organizations, not to mention the unique and popular professional services, restaurants, and shops already here on Solano Avenue.

peace. love. swap. Clothing Swap Sunday, September 18th, 2011

An organization on a mission to keep perfectly reusable items out of landfills and to donate to local charities by producing fun, affordable, family friendly swaps on an ongoing basis. Participants bring their gently used, clean baby, toddler, kid and maternity items to the swap and are able to pick up items that they need. This is an Earth Friendly opportunity to purge clothing, books, toys, etc. that your child has outgrown and get the next size up. Peace.love.swap charges $5 to participate in the swap and it is free for those who can volunteer at the event. HOH charges $10 for Open Gym time ($5 if you are a swap participant) which will occur during the swap - a great way to keep children occupied while parents pick out items. Everything left over at the end of the event will be donated to the Emeryville Community Action Project, an organization that gives much needed items away to those less fortunate.

Earth Day Sunday, April 22nd, 2012

Celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of Earth Day. Building on the major achievements of Earth Day 2011 and A Billion Acts of Green®, Earth Day Network is working to reach even more people all over the world to promote environmental awareness.

Spring Show Sunday, May 20th, 2012

For 31 years HOH students have gathered at the gym on a Sunday in May to show off all the incredible skills they have learned since they joined our Head Over Heels family. This year's event takes place on Sunday, May 22nd. To commemorate our 31st year HOH once again took over the 4701 Doyle Street parking lot to create a fun filled carnival day for the entire family.
