Circus Program Manager

Marina Karadjieva discovered her passion for Circus Arts over 10 years ago while she was earning a Masters of Arts degree in Languages in her native Bulgeria. In 2005 she decided to run away and join the circus in England, where she toured for 8 months. She came back to the Bay Area and continued performing in a variety of venues including Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, Ruby Sky in San Francisco, Bacara Resort & Spa, Sarah House AIDS Foundation, Santa Barbara Women’s Club, Santa Barbara Kids Film Festival, and Yoga Tree Studio. Together with her husband she founded the West Coast production company Cirque Destino, specializing in organizing circus related events.
