WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO ATHLETICS AND WORKING WITH CHILDREN?
I was always doing gymnastics around my house and in the yard, so my parents signed me up for gymnastics. I started coaching in high-school to help pay for my gymnastics tuition, and I realized how rewarding it is to work with children. With kids, there is no holding back your fun, silly side…and they just naturally have so much love for you. I love being able to see progress in so many areas over a short time period. Working with kids is where it‘s at!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT ATHLETIC ARTS?
I love that athletic arts allows for creativity in movement, balance and strength, and promotes being in top physical condition. It brings on the ooohs and aaahs.
