Physical Education And Schoolwork in a Pod

Day Camp with Distance Learning Opportunities at HOH

Beginning Tuesday, September 8th,

HOH will support our community during the school year by offering a safe childcare program that combines schoolwork support within a fun physical outlet. Our 2020-2021 P.E.A.S. in a Pod program is designed to aid families seeking to balance the demands of their child’s distance learning and parent work demands. Following CDC guidelines, participants can complete their school’s distance learning curriculum and stay physically active while socializing in our large open facilities.

Our P.E.A.S. in a Pod program places campers into pods of 6 – 8 kids (grouped by grade / age). Campers can enroll in either half or full day programming that will allow them to stay physically active between their school’s distance learning class times. The pods of students will participate in fun athletic and arts based activities throughout the day. When a camper has scheduled virtual learning time, HOH staff will assist them with setting up and logging into their academic system. Upon completion of school work, the camper will rejoin their pod in their day camp activities.
