HOH Board Secretary

Jarmin Yeh is an assistant professor at the Institute for Health & Aging, in the School of Nursing, at the University of California, San Francisco. She is a former elite gymnast and alumna of the Cal Women’s Gymnastics Team. Over the years, she has coached athletes of all ages, from toddlers to adults, teaching camps, birthday parties, recreational classes, and team gymnastics. She has worked in gyms across the country, including MarVaTots n’ Teens in Rockville, MD; Golden Bear Recreation Center in Berkeley, CA; Chelsea Piers Field House in New York, NY; and Acrosports in San Francisco, CA. She is Secretary of the HOH Board of Directors.

HOH Board Treasurer

Aaron Floyd is a Data Scientist at Fitbit and has previously worked as an engineer at Twitter and project manager in several biotech companies. Prior to working in technology, Aaron was an assistant coach for UC Berkeley Men’s Gymnastics, a US National Team coach, Head Over Heels boys and girls team coach and a co-captain of the UC Berkeley Men’s Gymnastics team.   He is Treasurer of the HOH Board of Directors.

HOH Board Members

Daniel Sperber is a graduate of UC Berkeley and alumnus of the Men’s Gymnastics Team. Daniel brings over 35 years of small business experience and ownership to the HOH Board of Directors. As a former athlete and uncle of two former HOH gymnasts, Daniel has witnessed first hand the positive benefits of gymnastics. Daniel’s long history of community efforts through volunteering, fundraising and outreach have benefited local gymnastics organizations to continue serving its members during times of need. Daniel served as HOH board president through the organization’s years of expansive growth, including the opening of the second location. After a few years hiatus, Daniel returned to the HOH board to support the organization’s continued efforts. In his free time, Daniel enjoys bike riding, hanging with his dog and traveling to Japan to visit family.

Tara Capsuto is a corporate attorney at Cooley LLP in San Francisco, providing counsel to companies and nonprofits at all stages of their life cycles. Prior to attending law school, she was a strategic planning consultant at Monitor Deloitte in San Francisco and a microfinance fellow at Kiva Microfunds in Ecuador and Kenya. She is an alumna of the Cal Women’s Gymnastics Team and Cal Diving Team and was captain of the Cal Diving Team. Tara has coached at World Cup Gymnastics in New York and Golden Bear Recreation Center in Berkeley, CA.

Shifra de Benedictis-Kessner is the Executive Director of the non-profit Temescal Telegraph Business Improvement District in North Oakland, managing diverse programs to create a beautiful, welcoming, and prosperous commercial district, including events, district-wide cleaning, and marketing. She has worked in local economic development, focused on supporting small businesses in the East Bay for over ten years. Shifra was a competitive gymnast at Head Over Heels for 8 years, competed club gymnastics at the College of William and Mary, and currently participates in adult gymnastics classes.
